I mean... teeangers (largely) can be pieces of shit. If I was one of those kids fathers, I dont think they would see sunlight for about 2 years. I feel for gay people cause they surely get stuck down further on the totem poll by the idiots of the human species, and in all honestly this event pales in comparison other shit thats happens to gays in other parts of the world.

That being said, I dont think humanity is doomed, its just going to be a long, long time before all the shit DNA gets weeded out and scientific minds rule the world, making ever better magic cards, and guiding us into the cosmos... Just be happy you live here and not IRAN or something, maybe carry a pistol :wink:

Great Britain has always had a violence issue. When I worked there in the 90s groups of guys would go out and get shitfaced then kick in all the storefront windows for fun. But now it's acid attacks, knifings, and shit like this. Maybe 8 billion people on this planet is about 7 too many and the pressure is starting to get to us.

I'm also pretty sure that sara is gonna get her wish and the end result is gonna be something like my numbers.

Yeah, I have a friend from London and he said the 18-30yo's start the most fights, they look for it for fun on a weekend out, or any night really. Like its the thing to do.:sad:

I grew up in/around it starting in the mid-90's. Fighting was just something you did. Us youngsters used to try and emulate the 'Football Hooligan' type violence by arranged fighting in gangs.

However; I do recall there was a point when a radical shift occurred. When suddenly, youngsters started imposing violence on people who did not want it/were not looking for it. Before that, one would only ever fight someone who wanted to fight.

The first occurrence I can recall of this was when a bunch of them attacked a tramp and set him on fire whilst filming it on a mobile phone.

Quite possibly, there has always been a minority who would attack the innocent, but IMO, that minority has grown considerably since around the turn of the millennium.

I don't know what caused it, but I think it's clear that respect has been on the decline for some time now.

Here in California I used to play baseball with a group of guys who were hooligans and there is no other word for it. They were kind of on the opposite side of it, where they would do things like walking around holding hands until people shouted 'fag' or something at them, then they would chase the guys down and beat them up.

it was hard to call most of them friends because violence is just not my thing. but they were like some weird street justice guys which could be kind of funny at times. They also did some shit that was just terrible and I couldnt have much of anything to do with them other than baseball..

Our country is a mixed up religion, 12-15% are muslim & we coexist in harmony the lower part suffered from extremist isis lately from wars. Whats is saddening is that part is mostly inhabited by our muslims country men and they were not happy about it. Their fellow muslim brothers destroyed and ransacked their homes.

We suffered from those kind of urban crimes & it got worst over the decades and i think its more than that sole reason

Intellectual & Spiritual awareness declined over the centuries, which resulted in corruption both inner(men) and out(social, politics, etc) and so on.

I like to think that reprehensible people like this are a loud and busy minority. The people who did that in Russia have black souls and certainly in an ideal world would face retribution 10x the severity of what they proved capable of inflicting on another sentient life.

I will say that there are differences and clearly some cultures around the world are more or less enlightened than others. The West, for all its shortcomings, is a rare Island in the context of history in the degree to which we try to stymie native human xenophobic tendencies and fear/hatred of that which we don’t understand.

Humanity must survive though because life is bigger than us and we seem to have some kind of role to fill in the greater scheme of nature. Why “live and let live” isn’t more commonly adhered to, or why we can’t love each other along the way, baffles me.

We need to nurture positive creative emotional states. Consciousness is all we have. When we’re in states allostatic stress we’re completely blind to brighter possibilities.

I don't think the increase in Muslim population has anything to do with it. They're nowhere near as villified in England as they are here. It kinda sickens me, the opinion on Muslims in this country. I knew many people of that faith back in England and they were truly kind people.

I think there's a possibility that anecdotal stories of such gangs via music and internet has played into it, but I think it's more likely a lack of respect that starts much earlier.

I've said it before. There are people that take advantage of the fact that there are lots of angry young men and it always sickens me. I really wish there were more avenues for young men to somehow channel all that rage into positivity like I (thank fucking goodness) did with music.

When I was younger rage was my only source of energy. I woke up to it, brushed my teeth to it, used it to make art. It makes me sad looking at the young men growing up today.
