Preped her a little too dry id say. Im now convinced that if you tamp the side nice and tight you wont see side pins. Toataly missed the surface conditions on this one but still no side pins.

1st grow, Penis Envy coco/verm. Looks like I've got some bacteria since I started misting. I've let it dry out a bit to about 75% humidity and running at around 77F. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Sick ass first grow buddy!!!!!  Welcome to the shroomery. As far as advice I would not mist or even take the lid off again till they are starting to open up. Then after you harvest soak it for an hour and put it back where it was.

Pins from a passive outdoor grow. This is just a mound of spent sub cakes from monotubs that are 1:1 coir to spawn. There might be some verm in this batch but that's it. They are lightly cased with coir and are rarely watered.

Woke up to some fresh boxes. Another ape made it!!!  3 for 3 on this attempt. Getting lots of clones to test!  And old faithfull. This will be the last run for this b+ culture, its time to move on.
