    #25891247 -

First time growing and I have inoculated petri dish with GT spore syringe on 15th March 2019.7 days have passed and I can see spots on places where I have inoculated but no mycellium. Is this ok? What to do?

but it's on exact same places where i dropped spores. if yeast contamination, shouldn't it have been obvious on petri dish prior to inoculation?

Looks a little funny. With spores I do a few dishes at once, they have bunches of contams.

Your spore syringe likely had the contaminant inside of it, especially if that's where the spots showed up

When opened to the air it can come from anyway where. Bacteria I literally everywhere. Could have been from ur glove, the air, the needle, the out side of the syringe, who knows.

Try pasty plates! They are so much easier imo! Once u get those down u can try to tackle petris again. Since the pasty plates have high sides they are less likely to get contaminated when u open them in your SAB. I perfer pasty plates so I don't have to buy new petri dishes all the time...
