Not sure what thats about. Sounds like a defition of gendered pronouns.

Sex is based of concrete physical characteristics. It's given to us by nature. Some of these can be overcome medically, others can't.

Gender is a series of social rules. Men fill these roles, women fill those roles. Men are allowed to look like this, women are allowed to look like that.

The social roles concept of gender evolved in the 20th century. The grammatical concept is older and is related, but not the same thing. A language might have "animate" and "inanimate" as genders instead of masculine and feminine. And even in a language where the genders are masculine and feminine, the names for inanimate objects may have seemingly arbitrary genders that were assumed by convention.

Transgenders and sex changers are modern forms of body modification. Body modification has always made many feel uncomfortable and confused.

If you have the balls (or not) to go under the knife and make yourself PHYSICALLY the opposite sex, you are still NOT the opposite sex.

Go ahead and TRY to be the opposite sex. These same people would be the types to ask, "Why can't I buy Kosher bacon?".

Fuckin seriously . I was taking a shit at a grocery store bathroom stall and there was a 1" gap in the door frame RIGHT IN FRONT of the toilet - right in front of the entrance to the bathroom and I made direct eye contact with a dude who walked in as I was pushing out a turd

Because some Jews somewhere along the line decided it was against their social rules and attributed that decision to a higher power in order to make it stick?

would have preferred:
"why can't I buy dry water?"
"why can't I train my pet snake to sit?"
"why can't I find a person who does not experience and express discrimination?"

True. But claiming to be something you're not and then making a case for discrimination is...very difficult.

My Kosher bacon example is meant to be oxymoronic...like "gay marriage".

I see transgenders as an awakening of human consciousness. Transhumanism if you will.

From what Ive learned from UFOlogy, theres three types of "genders". Theres the physical gender, your bodies gender, theres the psychological gender, thats where transgenders come into play, lastly theres the spiritual gender, which i dont really understand that much at this point, but i would guess its related to the psychological gender.

I believe the three gender types also apply to gays and lesbians as well as asexuals and all the other ones out there.

someone saying to me "you're a man, you were born with a penis"
means about as much to me as "you're privileged, you were born with white skin"
it is a statement of how that individual perceives my social existence as defined by the circumstances of my birth

however, that filter defines how the individual discriminates me from the rest of the individuals they interact with
discrimination is constant and pervasive, based on a combination of objective information and subjective interpretations
human discrimination is a fact of lived reality,
whether that discrimination is based in accuracy on observances of objective reality or not, it takes place

Is this then supposed to imply the position that gay marriage is fully valid because "marriage" is just a made up concept among humans to begin with?
because that seems like what your Kosher bacon example would imply -- the only thing inhibiting bacon from being designated as Kosher is that it does not match particular written ideas of sanctity
not really an inherent characteristic of the animal or meat simply as existing matter

if that was your intention, then my apologies for previously misinterpreting your statements
:hatsoff:

The doctrine says that a Buddha has three kāyas or bodies:

    The Dharmakāya, Buddha nature, law and order, or Truth body which embodies the very principle of enlightenment and knows no limits or boundaries;
    The Saṃbhogakāya, Buddha fields or body of mutual enjoyment which is a body of bliss or clear light manifestation;
    The Nirmāṇakāya, Buddha incarnation, Emanation, or created body which manifests in time and space.

Intriguing. Sounds very much similar. I can definitely see some connections there.

Its also interesting that in that same ET channeling book, theres a reference to Yugas, which is a Hindu term representing a cycle of time spanning about 50,000* years that marks "ages" in the spiritual evolution of Earth.

*correction.
