First tme A2G Transfer and grow mycelium. Does it look ok?

Hi,
This is my first Agar to Grain transfer where I am trying to grow mycelium which I am planning to later use for G2G (from at least one jar). I've attached 4 pics. Each pic shows 1 side of the jar, then turned all 3 jars, took another pic etc. This way you can see all 4 sides on the 3 jars.




Questions:
1. Do the jars look ok? I don't see any weird colors etc so it looks contamination free. My big fear is mycelium vs cobweb mold which are both white. To me, the growth looks rhizomorphic and I don't see any thin hair like filaments to indicate cobweb mold anywhere, but would like the experts to weight in please.

2. If all is good, how does one know when the grains are ready for G2G transfer or when to mix with coco coir for finally attempting to grow the magic mushrooms?

Doesn't look like you shook at 30%? they look okay, but shake them

Just wondering... if they're that close to being colonized are you shaking them just to speed up the last bit of colonization or for another reason?

I shook them at 20%. But I've got them in a 62 degree area so the growth is slow which I don't mind. Since its the first grow, I am doing everything possible not to give contams any chances to manifest and thought keeping the jars at lower temps will hush up the contams while the myc grows slow and steady.

Should I shake the jars again at this point or just let them be? Thanks

The reason I said is because you have a picture of one jar which has the bottom completely uncolonised..this couldn't happen if its been shaken at 20-30%? You have to really shake it, and mix it

I shook that jar (was a bit harder than expected since all the mycelium seemed to have glued the grains). Anyway, hopefully that bottom part will now get some mycelium growth.

So while I watch this like paint drying on a wall, how does one know the jar is ready for G2G or ready to mix with Coco Coir. Do I just wait until the jar is completely white with mycelium? Thanks

The best bet is to bang the jar against the heal of a training shoe..that gives a nice shock to break it up well

You have to get used to waiting in this hobby..weeks/months nothing happens quickly, except mold..

If you have shaken then once its fully white its ready to use. For G2G the jar has to be perfect, no wet looking grains or being slow to recover from a shake i.e longer than 3 days
