Agmented fuiting with co2?

Ok so i wanna know where these pictures come of the casings absolutely pack covered in shrooms.
afoaf generaly only sees about 5 to 6 shrooms per flush per casings(3"deep x 6" x 3", approx)in foil breadpans. his environment settings maintain 85%-90% humidity, and 75-78 degrees, with slight variances adjusting for time of day. the air gets circulate twice a day, and the volume of the grow chamber should provide ample air exchange anyway. teh casing is 50/50 peat/verm +5% dehydrated lime. he has talked with some people about co2 btu hasn't really gotten a clear answer. Are increased co2 levels the key to his generating more shrooms in the first flush, or is he barking up the wrong tree. some fingers pointing in the wright direction would be great

Fungus is not cannabis. C02 is detrimental to pinning.

Right on, I thought he was full of shit.
So then where is my prob? Why doesn't my friend have lots of pins, its kind of frustrating. he even cold shocks them in the fridge for a whole day. Any ideas?

Your fruiting environment sounds ideal, as far as temp and humidity are concerned. What is your humidification method?

Try:

-adding an airstone w/aquarium air pump for guaranteed air.
-making sure they're getting their light.
-experimenting with different casings and casing mix ratios.

well my friends method for humidification is pramarily ultrasonic, which i've heard from some that its not the best idea, but from others they say its the easiest way to get an environment humid quickly and maintain it, he has a halfway decent hygrometer, and it usually reads between 80%-90%. my only thought is when he airs it out he does so for about an hour or so(its a big area), he cranks his hepa filter and lets the humidity drop for maybe an hour, and then its right back to normal. would these brief drops in humidity cuase less pinning? or to put it in an easier question, does the humidity need to be absolutely constant, or can it be dispersed with periods of lower humidity?

I've never aired out my fruiting chamber for more than 2 minutes, and that was when I needed to scoop out some perlite for use in a mini-pod.

Why would you air out your fruiting chamber like that?

You say its a big area, unless you're talking about something *really* big, like olympic pool size big, you don't need an hour to air it out.

I'm not sure how those drops would affect pinning, but if its not that, or the casing, then its your substrate.

that is what im beginging to think. seems like its on to grain filled pastures. gonna try wbs this weekend.
