first slants, need advice

I made 2 slants 1.5 weeks ago.. first looks nice, clear, flat.. second also looks clear but there is 2 mycelium piles, is it good to use?
are they ready for fridge?

on second picture, wedge is in the middle and there is one pile above and one under wedge.
yellow on myc is reflection of slant scale, there is no obvious discoloration

i noticed.. i put more parafilm on slant with piles, maybe gas exchange problem?

The best way to see is to test them
I see quite a few people place them in the fridge at 50% colonized :shrug:

Can't tell you when to fridge them but I'd wait for 100% :shrug:

Again don't take my word on it, what I do is much different.
