In vitro using rye grain?

I note that the main in vitro teks here use either sterilised bulk in jars (or PP5 containers) (Pastywhyte's in vitro straw, MudaFuka's bottles) or use rye grass (Violet's POD tek).

I have a few kg of rye grain (not grass seed) on hand, and want to try in vitro in quart PP5 containers.

Is there any reason I can't use rye grain? Maybe modify Violet's POD tek to use rye grain ?

You can put whatever you feel like in a jar and sterilize it. Any mix of spawn and substrate makes a good "muda bottle"

Just use the methods and ideas from pasty's and muda's threads.
As for the other tek im not a fan of all the bullshit power this and power that crap language to catch a noobs eye
