First PF Tek attempt and..

I attempted to grow cubensis in my house.
It looks like mould. Is this ruined?
I inoculated on the 17 of December and I'm in Australia so it's hot amd humid although a lot of the time the jar was kept in an airconditioned room on super hit days. Also, there was moisture in the jar a lot of the time.
What can I do with this?

What you can do? Dunk and fruit, see what happens. What ya got lost when only one jar? Luck!

Looks like its got a couple pins. It wants to grow, I'd put it in a sgfc.

Why so many people still support sgfc. Monotubes and shoboxes are so much easier and less handling, even humidity chamber is better. No offence, just a friendly question

It's just what I see most people do with brf cakes. I'm right there with you, spawning to bulk is preferable.

Awesome! I'm glad you said so because I continued along anyway. It's sitting in a homemade terrarium now.
What's a sgfc and brf? I really need to get on here more often.

SGFC= shotgun fruiting chamber
BRF= brown rice flower

Flour. Brown rice flour. It's often available in the baking or gluten-free sections of larger grocery stores. Or you can grind your own in a food processor.

it gives folks the chance to get an up close and personal view of the mushroom cultivation experience since it is pretty hands on.  I learned a lot that way about pinning triggers and the importance of FAE and moisture balance.

Thanks guys. Yea I did buy a cheap coffee grinder to make my own BRF.
