But seriously...I think you are forgetting about sterilization. If you mix your spore-water into the substrate before sterilization you'll kill all the spores when you sterilize the jars. If you do it after you would have to open the jars and expose the sterilized substrate to all sorts of nasty airborne contaiminants. I guess maybe if you worked in the clean room at JPL it might work, or better yet in the vacuum of space!!

It's a well known TEK, see the Grow/Find section, look for Mycelium Culturing and I believe the first one is the Liquid Mycelium.

Good idea, it's just already been thought of (and BTW it's a GREAT way to get your jars colonized fast).
