was that the F+ strain?
I have never had any F+ be slow.
Are you using an incubator?
What temps are you incubating at?

I just did some F+ and they were fully colonized in 9 days.

I like the Phucket Island, Keepers Creeper, South American, KS T-3 for speedy colonization.

good luck!

They were in an incubator at 84 degrees F.

What recipe did you use to make your BRF cakes?

I dunno man, I'm starting to think that it's more conditions than strain that makes the diff.

I just colonized a bunch of EQ 1 pint jars to 100% in 12 days.

of course, this is keeping between 84-86F the entire time, on rye grain, with polyfill filters0

PR's actually, sometimes a little too fast. causes overlay pretty quickly in neglected casings.
