I didn’t deactivate or delete or whatever my Facebook page, but I haven’t logged in in months.  There’s pros and cons to Facebook, but I’m taking a break from it for a little while.  Tbh, I considered logging in a few days ago when George HW Bush died.  Facebook is at its cringy funniest when some public figure like him passes- people all acting like they’re somehow affected by it.

When Paul Walker died that was when I realized how fucking stupid all of that shit is. I mean it was like the biggest thing in the world but a week before hand no on could have gave a fuck what Paul Walker was doing. I still dont know why it was such a big deal he died. he wasnt even a good actor at all. I mean I just dont get it. Why did people care so much about paul Walker? This has upset me for a long time.:confused:

Yeah, shit like that is bizarre.  My best guess is that all the people making a big scene out of a B list celebrity’s death are the folks who haven’t lost anyone close to them irl.  They think mourning is novel or “cool”, or adds depth to their personality.  Gets them attention.  Agreed that most of them had no idea who Walker was beforehand.  I think a few people probably started posting about “RIP Paul”, and then a bunch of others just hopped on the trend.  Facebook is pretty ridiculous.

Many groups are completely overrun with, sorry to be so obtuse, pathetic people who are like petty, vindicative fashionistas on middle school level and you see their profile and they are 40, 50, 60.. I'm not talking them having low IQ, thats a normal fact of life thing but people who must've spent their whole life watching TV or something, not at all developed in personality yet over halfway through life. On the contrary, people with often for sure lower IQs often having much more robustly developed personalities.

As an empathic person it pains me to see them flail about aimlessly to no effect like overturned tortoises - its depressing.

I can totally see the whole cult & jesus thing, many people just NEED a shepherd to take over where their parents and educators left off, often decades ago.

Its saddening to see. I have my own gaping shortcomings but gawd dayum, this is something else.

It takes a special kind of person to seek a mushroom.

idk if it's that cut and dry avanti I think people are wildly complex and twisted. it's such a multifaceted thing it's hard to point where to start pulling the strings and when u do it just unravels. that to me is the most depressing part.

Voting Republican now that the once respectable Republican Party is hijacked by the antisocial agenda is how shitty presidents happen.

Not that he Hillarious candidate the Democrats put forth was much better or anything.

After 8 years of reasonable damage control by Obama, America decided to do something different this time, so they voted for the guy who challenged people to literally beat up dissenters during rallies, stating he would pay the legal fees, who was the first KKK endorsed candidate where even his black voters got attacked, who called wounded veterans losers, need I go on?

First thing that happend when he entered the white house was silently remobving any positive mention and projects for the benefit of LGBT off the white house website.

His presidency consists of undoing the black guy's decisions and playing golf.

Re-elect the guy, seriously.

The time has come for the American government losing its stranglehold on the world and its own population. Let that long anticipated Revolution finally happen where You, The People, throw off the yoke of Babylon. The People of the world will cheer you for it.

Let Trump state "Let them eat cake." at the uninsured destitute Americans on food stamps where nowhere in the country minimum wage pays for rent, and let the revolution begin, the widespread uprising where You, The People take the country back.

Thats my wish for 2019.

  I might take that a little more serious if you had bothered to exhaust your fingers by typing out the whole word "You're."  I guess those three extra letters of legitimacy were just too much for your tired and feverish fingers.

  Attitudes like yours are what allow presidents like 45 to happen.  You demand I show him respect, yet he has done everything in his power to make sure I will never respect him.  Respect is not granted, it is earned. 

  I'd advise at this point if you want to call me stupid that you use full sentences and type out full words.  "You're" is already an abbreviation, by trying to further abbreviate it you just look asinine.  Starting a sentence with a lowercase "but" happens to make you look like a moron as well.  I guess the fever took your fingers too, a period at the end was too much effort.  Are you typing with your nose?
