Dubtub question?

I live in a very low humidity area and its very dry out here, the tek im follow says 4 holes in each tub so was wondering if i shouldnt have as many holes as its telling me? I also got smaller sized totes than the one in the tek says i got 16 qt tubs instead. Just want to make it properly without having to worry about it drying out.
