Shaggy parasol id

Found near seattle in a forested park. White gills and bulbous stripe base. I've read that if spore print is dark it means a negative for chlorophyllum olivieri so spore print in process.

If the spore print was green it would Chlorophyllum molybdites, but I suspect it's going to be white. What are the cap and stem dimensions?

Chlorophyllum olivieri is the shaggy parasol you're hoping for, and it'll have a white print. This does look like what you have, but I'd still do the print.

Chlorophyllum molybdites is poisonous and will have a green spore print.

Yeah, I parsed it eventually. As for diameter, you can infer from the surroundings that it's in the 10cm range, which is consistent with C. olivieri.

Also, I've picked C. olivieri recently in the same area and they looked exactly the same as this.

Definitely spore print it to be sure, but Chlorophyllum molybdites is said to be relatively rare around here - it's too cold, and it's definitely been cold the past week or so, so expect it will likely not be green.

Cap is 11cm. Stem is 1.5cm x 14cm.

In that case I think Chlorophyllum is likely. Just need to wait on the spore print now. If it is green, then it's poisonous. If it's white it is edible, but it must be cooked thoroughly, and if it's your first time only eat a small amount, as even the white spored ones contain some toxins and don't agree with some people.
