Found growing under pine, fruiting in pine duff and grass clippings. Spore print white, bruises pinkish.
These really are some amazing looking mushrooms, edible too. (not to be confused the toxic green spored Lepiota, Chlorophyllum molybdites)
 Single white parasol.
 What a cutie.
 Boobies?
 Threesome.
 Headshot.
 Perfect pair.
Here you can see the cottony mycellial mass at the base of the stalk.
 And a group shot.

I'll go check my local bed and see what is going on. What location were the specimens found (geographical)?

I had a bad experience trying to choke down an over ripe procera a while back. A friend and I found some rachodes this spring...I let him have them as I was hesitant. I think he cooked some up for me, I forgot how...but he did a good job.
I'll eat them the next time they fruit though.

Here are some pics of our rachodes find.

This one shows some staining. For others, you can tell a rachodes from a procera by this staining reaction. Perhaps the larva dissuaded me from being hungry for them as well.

The ones I found a month or so ago had larvae in the stems as well. A quick usage of my knife allowed me to find that they hadn't made it more than halfway up the stem, so they came home with me. Often you can "outrun" the larvae to the good part. The stem on these is inedible anyway - the ones I find have almost woodlike stems.
Happy mushrooming!

My friend brought some dried flesh from some she picked in OR, but I don't know if it's possible to clone dried material...is it???

It is, but you might have better luck with spores from the dried gills.
Use lots of agar dishes.
