That song/vid doesn't even sound like country to me though...Sounds a lot more like some mainstream pop music, like some typical top-40 radio music...It doesn't sound like country music to me at all.

Some Country has recently taken on Pop aspects to become Pop Country. One example is Florida Alabama Line, which has some good music.

I dont like Country, but Pop Country is pretty chill.

"Pop country" is many times more cheesy and cringe and nails on a chalk board for me than classic country music.


I'm not a fan of country music in general, but I can tolerate classic country more than I can this pop stuff...

...This pop stuff is no talent music that's just "catchy" like the vast majority of other popular/mainstream music...It all sounds the same, lots of country singers all sound the same and it even seems like their voices are starting to be auto-tuned a slight bit...It's all generic music and nothing original, the music is produced to be "catchy" and appeal to the masses just like the rest of pop music.

Not my cup of tea (I don't even like any sort of music with vocals/lyrics in general)...but different strokes for different folks :shrug: .








to stay somewhat relevant to the thread lol, I can dig this sort of country music...
