I actually know nothing about bluegrass at all...I always thought that it would really bore me so I've never even checked it out.

I don't even ever download music these days...but ACTUALLY I'll be at my gf's later and her internet connection is her own so I CAN DL shit. I'll check those out. :thumbup:  And I'll smoke before I listen...it's mellow stuff, right?

  I don't think I'd call John Prine bluegrass,but he's in my top ten {for over 30 years now  :blush:} Bluegrass is an American invention.I used to go to this "fiddlers convention" in Chadds Ford, Pa. every summer.Old dudes from all over [the south]. yeah - I'm not sure any of this stuff I like is really "bluegrass"

I like the strummin and pickin with some flare

Steve Earl and Del McCoury have some good tunes together
