I actually know nothing about bluegrass at all...I always thought that it would really bore me so I've never even checked it out.

I don't even ever download music these days...but ACTUALLY I'll be at my gf's later and her internet connection is her own so I CAN DL shit. I'll check those out. :thumbup:  And I'll smoke before I listen...it's mellow stuff, right?

yeah - I'm not sure any of this stuff I like is really "bluegrass"

I like the strummin and pickin with some flare

Steve Earl and Del McCoury have some good tunes together

i believe Alison Kraussjust won her 20th grammy!. you should definitely check out Alison Krauss and Union Station.

i like old bluegrass like bill monroe or the stanley brothers. i think ralph stanley has the best male bluegrass voice ever

i made a banjo for earl scruggs once when i worked in the gibson custom shop. it had an inlay on te entire back of the resonator of hist bust. he was a cool old bird when i met him.

back in the city i was in during highscool, there was this place with this plastic grass and fake palm trees which overlooked the docks. the grass was shaped in waves, really fuckin awsome. we would go there sometimes at night and get drunk as hell. we nicked named it "wavy grass" and also "bluegrass"

completely unrelated to what you were talkin about though. im jsut driftin on memory lane
