At least they enjoy their lives out there much more than inside/in the city -

While they had to contend with numerous coyotes, owls, eagles, etc when we lived out in the mountains, my cats actually had a lot less scratching and scarring on them - now that we live in town they have to battle for their place on the block... I think they might like that too though, idk :lol:

All of my previous cats - late in their years, and my current kitties sister all wandered off and were lost somehow in the wilderness :sad: I didn't expect it with her, she was such a sweet lil' ninja - I hope she just ran off in heat and started a family, I hadn't neutered her yet.

When I found those twin kitties, they were only weeks old and had managed to find a way to open the window of my friends trailer home they were living in and were wandering around the fields :lol: Thankful I found them, things that tiny don't last long out there. We had to throw rocks at an eagle trying to pick up my friends small dog before - sad, but he wasn't hurt so it ended up being kind of absurd/funny :lol:

Have to agree with ya on that one...  And throwing rocks at an eagle to keep it from snatching a small dog? That's just crazy. Glad it all turned out ok

Is it normal for a kitty to have dirty ears? I try to clean them often but they get dirty again pretty quickly.

His name is Valentine. Really cool cat.  He hangs out with the new litter of kittens.  Seems like he's protecting them.
