I stumbled across a skate park. I need to get a telephoto lense so I can get closer without getting my head smooshed. Too bad the lenses are as expensive as the cameras nowadays.

Singapore is an awesome country! I was there for 2 weeks when I was 13 visiting my grandparents. I wish I could go back again, I would appreciate it even more.

Prosititution is legal, just kept on the D/L... its not like they run around like the chicks in full metal jacket. I heard about 20 years ago it was a little more loose with opium dens and street hookers, but things have changed.

Drug posession will probably get u a LOOONG time in jail... The following acts are punishable bhy death:

Drug TRAFFICKING (in and out of country)
Firearms posession/use
Murder

In the paper here, apparently 69% of people said they wanted death for planning a terrorist attack and 83% wanted it for drug trafficking..

then again all the tv channels and papers out here are owned by the gov't as well as the housing... It's basically a communist country masdquerading as a free country... It's everything the american gov't wishes it could be.

Canon Digital Rebel XT (350 EOS D)... with the standard 18-55mm lense. I have a fisheye extension for it too. I would give my left nut for either a wide angle or telephoto lense for this thing, but for a digi camera they cost hundreds of dollars. I jkujst have to make due with what I have for now.

I'm on business out here, but my mission is to take shitloads of pics any hopefully have about 5 good ones I can print out and use for the LA country fair this fall. I've also been picking up a lot of british amateur photo magazines out here. They all have a reader's submitted photos section. When I get back I'll try to submit a few. I'm 26 damnit and I need to start doing something drastic if I ever wish to get out of this god forsaken IT industry and into photography.

I need to take pics of more people.

Those aren't americans. Most of those kids looked pretty asian to me. You just can't tell because I wasn't close enough. I've been out here for two weeks and I think I've met only 1 American. There about as many white people out here as you find asians in Amera. Of all the crackers I've come across.. 99% of them are germans, british, french, or aussies.

The city hall out here has this huge shopping center underground. There's this underground plaza right in front of it which is basically this massive open area marble waxed floor about 50 meters wide. I keep seeing kids with bikes and skateboards doing tricks. I'd take more pics if I could getter grab of the white balance on this camera... It's underground so all the lighting is flourescent/incadenscent. I shall venture over there today and see what this camera can do... will post pics later..

No. It totally sucks.... although... there is a silver lining to that cloud.. 6 weeks without herb.. when I get back I'm gonna have a HELLA LOW tollerance.
