Anyway are this garbage men a product of evolution(biology)?

WHY DON’T VULTURES GET SICK WHEN EATING DEAD THINGS?
able to eat carrion and contaminated meat due to specialized digestive enzymes and bacteria in their systems. These enzymes destroy hog cholera, rabies, and other contagious diseases in their digestive system that would be spread if another animal ate the contaminated carcass. For this reason, farmers will often drag an animal that died for an unknown reason for them to decontaminate and clean.

Even the minutest of viruses and bacteria were part of God’s creation! The enzyme that can kill the anthrax bacteria and rabies virus was provided by the Creator to the vultures, acting like garbage collectors in the jungle to prevent the spread of diseases. Nature has its own garbage, for example, as a way to keep things in order.

Isn’t that life with a purpose?

The wise God, the creator, most probably has meant man to be what he is: Homo sapiens. Wise Man. This is in contrast to just springing up from nothing or surviving dependent on fitness that evolution professes to teach.

There is a decent picture being painted of our hominid ancestry via the fossil record and I believe DNA now as well. I don't think we're that special, I do think as a species we have a superiority complex though.

Have you ever tried thinking g about that from the evolutionary perspective? That all of those vultures ancestors that didn't have the right enzymes and gut biome died out because they couldn't adapt to eating the foods available to them. The ones that survived and had those traits went on to make more vultures like that that.

I feel like the title and implied meaning on the article is different from what the conversation should be. The most important parts of the article asked questions. I don’t think it’s as much posited that evolution is wrong, as much as it’s being asked what’s wrong with it. There are holes to fill and that’s fine. That doesn’t disprove evolution though and I don’t remember that being claimed.

Thats because it has a clickbait title and premise.  It sells the idea that scientists are rebelling or against the idea in order to push its agenda.  It's typical of the news and general articles these days.

did, as me one of those who dissmised the theory of grand good plan, that there is no HIGHEST. And clinged to the survival of the fittest.
the traits needed a nessecity to be consistent. For biological existense cannot halt/pause and not Die,
a decay unless frozen is innevietable. So bacteria enzyme needed consistency. They might evolve based on the environment but not a total extinction of a species alike.

Really gets your mind thinking about other ideas.

Millennia after some of the most popular religions put forth their theories on how nature came about...
Hundreds of years after the first enlightened scientists clashed with religious dogma and superstition...
Decades after intelligent design was first put forth...
...that article is about as 'enlightening' as a random tabloid from July 1986 used to wrap fish & chips. It has several logical flaws, provides no actual insight into any in-depth debate on the issue, draws on a small handful of quotes that are provided with little to no context, evidently cherry-picks its evidence and like mentioned by Koods does not put forth any alternative, nor even a thorough critique of the vast number of mechanisms and theories that together make up our concept of 'evolution'. In short, that article is a waste of digital space. Enlightening my ass.

Don't get me wrong, as an academic, I'm very much open to other points of view, and I'm also fairly aware of the fact that several mechanisms that constitute evolution are difficult or impossible to support with evidence. I'm also aware that despite all we know, there are still missing pieces to the puzzle. Furthermore, I know perfectly well that science and religion do not need to be at odds with each other and that a sizable minority of the scientific community has religious views that seem to be at odds with the tenets of evolution theory. But that linked article adds absolutely ZERO to the debate - not even in terms of 'enlightening' relatively uninformed or uneducated individuals, who by and large are perfectly aware of the fact that there are conflicting views on how nature has come to be.

There are only two credible reasons why the referred article was written:
1. It was written by someone who gets a kick out of seeing their name at the top of a piece of text on the internet.
2. It was written out of the deep desire to construct an image of science as a uniform, homogeneous power block that needs to be opposed in order to protect mankind from some sort of harm.
Out of the two, I can only have some sympathy for #1, as some people just happen to need their 15 minutes of fame and the internet is after all a fine way to make that happen at relatively low cost to society. Reason #2 is of course based on a fundamentally flawed concept of science and its relation to society, which is a problem that virtually all authors of these 'anti-science' articles suffer from.

This one especially bugs me. I have plenty of qualms with certain "scientists" and "science institutions" and particular prevalent "scientific beliefs". There are plenty in our culture who treat "science" with a capital "S" and forget about the sociologic, economic, and political factors that play a role in shaping science culture. But what I don't get is people who aren't educated on a topic and have no real constructed dissent who want to grasp for reasons to distrust science as a whole. Natural selection, in it's most basic form, is a readily observable fact. It's something anyone can come to know for themselves. It is not a theory that is shrouded in language so dense that only the elites can be trusted to understand and work with it. It is not something to really be suspicious of and at this point it's almost as much a part of daily life as gravity. It's the reason Amazon stocks are soaring and brick and mortar stores are disappearing. It's the reason we have to continuously create new flu vaccines. It's the reason some civilizations are lost to time while others thrive and continue to evolve.

It's an interesting phenomena that distrust in contemporary culture extends into readily observable truths. That such an article would stimulate excitement in readers despite being entirely void of interesting counterarguments. We live in a far from perfect world but many good people with good intentions on the path for truth have contributed to our progress. Attacking Darwin as if he was a coal industry lobbyist seems like misplaced anger to me. Our understanding of evolution has come a long way since his time, but evidence is continuously working towards it, not against it. Inabilities to approximate early life conditions in a laboratory are hardly surprising and should not be jumped at as evidence for intelligent design. Even if we were placed here by aliens or some panspermia event doesn't change the fact that everything that has happened since is evolution. And that those "intelligent beings" are also products of evolution. Even if they came from different planets. It doesn't change anything about general evolutionary principles.

Recent research shows that a surprising number of genes in modern man are in fact inherited from Neanderthals, illustrating that breeding did take place - and not as in isolated incident, but structurally.

I'm taking just this snippet from your post, which I can certainly get behind. In the quoted text, I think you offer the main explanation for the anti-science lobby: an inability or unwillingness to understand how science and the scientific community work, resulting in a lack of insight, which apparently invokes fear in some people. Fundamentally it just seems another rendition of the old 'fear of the unknown' trait that is inherent to our species - and which has served quite a useful role from an evolutionary perspective...

Aint that.:tongue2: fishy?

Sure is, but fake fossils/taxadermic items that might point towards a perceived mythological concept are found throughout history. Same has happened with ice men, mermaids, yetis and unicorns. This is done so that the manufacturer of the body or artifact can sell their stuff.  There was a shrunken head shortage in the 1800's when European demand for third world war trophies (heads) was at it's highest, tribes just started ditching centuries of tribal tradition of using the heads of male war enemies, and instead started using any head they could get their hands on, whether from graves, female tribe members, kids, monkeys etc.

Point being, the sale of fake artifacts/fossils/etc. does not disprove anything, nor does it point towards a conspiracy to prove something that isn't true among those serious about it. Bringing up the fishy fake ape man from the turn of the century as a point against the theory of evolution as a whole is an argument from fallacy.

For i love em both Bible, science me as you Do. What me like respectfully is ask your point of views..

So as a present-day human which are your descendants? Neanderthal or Cro-Magnon?

still No steamy Hot love sexual gentic exchange..
-Although four of the Neanderthals studied here post-date the putative arrival of early modern humans into Europe, we do not detect any recent gene flow from early modern humans in their ancestry.
Despite 99.5% Genes, if only Neanderthals are pretty sexy hot ladies

And if we choose to be Neanderthal its aint 2% difference no more, but around 5% which ive suspected.
-contamination of Neanderthal skeletal remains by large amounts of microbial and present-day human DNA

If we choose Cro-Magnons: we are all winners :dancer:
