I could probably buy some from zelly but  I don't have the cash atm. If anyone does I'll throw in .. Just message Zelly and see what he'll charge for TPM pollen A Pachanoi monstrose mother and a Peruvian monstrose father would be awesome!!!

I'm sorry if this is breaking the rules but this in not a trade or anything like that. I'm just trying to help a new grower out that has an unusual flower and needs pollen really badly. He could do a small giveaway for the community of seed growers.

If he agrees I'll message the Mods and see if they will allow us to do this.

There has been a lot of issues with TPM pollen this year though. Can You PLEASE take 3 or 4 Qtips and collect as much of that pollen as possible and place it in a bag (but make sure it's all dry) and put it in the freezer before I can find a good way to use that pollen?

I'm friends with Zelly and he messaged me back saying he hasn't had much luck with TPM pollen this year so I imagine he would LOVE to have some of what you have.

Damn, I didn’t realize that was a thing- collecting pollen & freezing it? Wish I would’ve known that. That flower has already died and fallen off the plant  :frown:

For future reference, how do I swab pollen? From a specific part of the flower or just anywhere inside? Then air dry >>> plastic bag >>> freezer?? Will it be visible on the q-tip?

Just use a q tip and rub it on the stamens where the pollen is located which will form a small amount of yellow pollen on the end.


Just look up on google how to collect and save pollen.

I've seen a guy on youtube use a brush to scrape pollen out into a petri and store it that way. Looked like he collected a ton more than a swab could hold and if I'm not mistaken you probably already have petri's for mushcult.

Yes that could work. I just told you to use a swab because that's what Zelly uses and if you'd wanted to sell or trade it with him then that would have been your better bet.

Trichos can take most of a season to produce full fruits but I pollenate most of my flowers and Tomatoes (usually Cross pollination to produce something special) and most fruits form in a couple weeks to a month.

Interesting. So you pollinate the flowers, then they fall off and later become a seed bearing fruit? Sorry, gardening nooby here  :grin:

Wild Bore Farms cultivars. Those are the only ones I've been working with in the past 2 years.
