Diluting? White supremacy much?

I'm not suggesting anything. I'm saying that if every nation had the same laws, there'd be ill effects of globalization.

Lol at claiming to be pro working class and then deferring to the shareholders when you have to face hard truths.

"I mean, yeah, I want to help the working class, but not if that helps poor people in other countries too. Gross."

I don't know about that.

I'm not deferring to shareholders over anything, I'm just pointing out one of the obvious realities (cheap labor) of globalization.

I think a strong US working class could potentially make for a better working class in places outside of the US.

If borders are a bad idea, why has every significant country drawn them? Although there are instances where borders have been drawn arbitrarily (like Iraq). What about jurisdiction? How would that work with no borders? Universal law?

The Constitution was not signed until the Bill of Rights were added. They were present when the document became law. The Federal Government only has jurisdiction over interstate commerce, citizens of the federal territories and D.C. If you sign up and claim citizenship with them, you voluntarily join their jurisdiction. The Constitution limits authority of the Federal Government over citizens within the States. The Constitution does not apply to citizens under Federal jurisdiction.
Taking freedom by force instead of by law is abhorrent to any sense of justice. If the fear of upholding the true law of America inspire such actions by men in government, then it proves that they are even less honorable and less desirable to affiliate with. Why socialize with such scum?

You are wrong. The Social Security Number is the identifier that you use on all binding contracts with the federal government. Without one (you don't have need one to be alive) you cannot enter into contracts with them. It is the legal path that is used to ensnare you within their jurisdiction. The socialism aspect goes back to the difference between governments that I have repeated before. In the USA: Creator over Man over government, in Socialism: Government over Man. By signing up as a citizen under federal jurisdiction you are signing up for them to have authority over you. So Socialism in that respect, as well as social security benefits.

This is all pure sovereign citizen bullshit.

I don't think there should be any trade barriers between countries that follow the same labor and environmental standards.

You mean sorta like the WTO? A big, international organization which makes sure trade is fair? Good thing we're quitting! They only vote with US interests 85% of the time anyways, we need those last 15%. U-S-A! U-S-A!

But ewwww people born in other countries are icky. Probably easier to do away with global trade.

If you're suggesting that diluting the US and mixing equally with the other 8 billion people on the planet "would be a good thing", you're wrong.

That's pie in the sky economic theory. Mixing third world economies with developed economies creates many dislocations and extreme margins that are irresistible for shareholders.

I think if anything, this is an argument *against* borders. If you're not wealthy enough to work in the US, you get deported to some Chinese factory where your skills and pay scale are more in line with reality. If you're wealthy enough, you live here. It's very simple. Just like how poor people live in poor neighborhoods and rich people live in rich neighborhoods, except across the whole world. We'd have a dirt poor section of the world where they mine and farm, a regular poor section of the world where we'd do manufacturing, middle-class, service based areas, and finally an upper class, wealthy executive region.

Again, government is obsolete. Corporations can take over and do the job more efficiently.

Will you cry if the vast majority of the blacks are living in the poorest parts of the world doing the lowest paying jobs?

Do you really want to play a true game of survival of the fittest and deal with the social consequences from your liberal friends?

The WTO does the exact opposite of what ballsalsa is saying.

The WTO wants a good to be considered the same no matter how or where it was produced.
No matter what labor or environmental conditions it was produced under the WTO would have it considered the same.

Nope. As long as there is no entrenched system of social oppression. As I have said before, if I completely ignored history and historical context, I would agree with many traditionally conservative viewpoints.

I am okay with a game of survival of the fittest, as long as the game is not rigged. This means no inheritance and no preferential distribution of resources. No more sending your kids to elite schools based on your name and wealth. You pay into the system, and the best qualified kid goes to the school. Not yours.
