Can I use WBS and CoCo Coir  Substrate for growing Psilocybe galindoi/ATL#7 mushrooms?  Because I read to use Horse manure and I am Not the position that I can use any kind of manure. So Can I use WBS and CoCo Coir  Substrate for growing Psilocybe galindoi/ATL#7 mushrooms? Thank You

I don't see why you couldn't use wbs. Grains are grains to me. I think it's just personal preference if you're not growing sclerotia. You can make your sub from coir and it's great to work with in general if you haven't used it before. I think mycolorado has a great casing recipe for them, too, if you'd like to look into that.

Im not 100 on this but i think if your gonna use coir. U may need to supplement it. But im not sure. I spoke with him about his tamp grow. Be used sterilized manure. Cant remember whst kind. I think it was "stud" but i may be mistaken

Just like anything else i suppose. Trick is spawning it in front of a flowhood if u do sterilize your poo

Mexicana has been successfully grown on coir alone but the results I've seen are pretty lackluster. They really need some manure to thrive.

If you don't have a flowhood to spawn in front of then you'll want to pasteurize your manure instead of sterilize it. You can do this in jars in a hot water bath. You want to bring the temp between 140 and 159f for 60 to 90 minutes.
