Coco Coir / Cow Manure / Straw

I was thinking of spawning sum 1/2 pint BRF/Verm cakes into a 50/50 substrate of straw and cow shit. Then when colonized case in bettween Coco Coir. But I don't know exactly how to go about it. So does anyone know of a good tek that will help me out?
Also I had a few questions about coco coir and Cow shit. First how much water do I add to the coco coir before casing? and does store bought cow dung work cause I read sumwhere that store bought dung is useless for a substrate ?

I cant really help you out much except to say that make sure the store bought dung is 100% organic. No pesticides or fungicides and crap like that.
