Dark purple on cake after first dunk?

I originally posted in the cultivation forum but thought this would be a more appropriate forum***

Had a hard time harvesting after ripping off clumps of shrooms and pins so I might have ripped off mycelium in the process, but now I've got a dark purple blotch on my cake after I dunked for 24 hours. Is it contam or what?
This is actually my second dunk. I dunked once after cake birth, and this purple appeared after i harvested my mushies, and dunked again to initiate a second flush of mushies. So it appeared after I removed the cake from the water to start a second flush.

Harvest with a very sharp knife.  On the side, not the top?  My guess is dry mycelium.

Don't twist and pull, cut them with a knife or scissors.


The purple stain is from spores though.
