Purple Icicle-Looking Material on Stem

I have a quick question.

There is some weird looking purplish, fine-hair, icicle fuzz on the bottom part of a stem of a recently harvested shroom.

The cake doesn't look bad, and other shrooms from the cake that came before this turned out alright. However, this one is sorta making me suspicious.

Im not quite sure if its just the mycellium growing on the stem - because Ive had that happen with other shrooms and it seems to congregate itself as a more fuzzy white material - not like this purple stuff.

I hope the picture helps...its the best I could do. The strain is Acadian Coast. The stuff im talking about is at the bottom of the stem, directly below the white perlite rock.

unfortunately was picture is very blured but as i could see i didnt find anything bad on the stem,looks normal to me
