When I lived in a student house we had a period with lots of mice in the kitchen

What really worked for me was finding out their standard escape routes. Then when you do catch one, immediately move a largish object to block their usual escape route. This really confused them, you can than either knock em dead or catch em alive. I have caught a lot this way by putting tupperware containers over a confuzed mouse.

All caught mice were later releases in the frontyard of a big mansion down the street :grin:

Not gonna lie I killed plenty too by hitting em with a roll of garbage bags

Mix plaster of Paris with cornmeal and sugar leave it out with a bowl of water, dead mice.

When i lived in Hawaii, i used to catch the large cocoroaches this way, by putting a tupperware over them then slipping a piece a paper under them. Worked well. Those big ones creep me out :lol:

Problem with the cat method is that the cat will only come out when he/she wants to. so you'll get rid of your mouse problem but end up with a cat problem. You could potentially then try luring that cat out with another cat but that cat can also go in and not want to come out. So I'd be careful sticking cats in your wall unless your a professional and know what you're doing.

Do you really think there are only two mice? lol. Sorry about your luck but chances are they’ve colonized and bred, or atleast made it obvious enough for other mice. Step 1 is always finding and eliminating potential entranceways. Insulating spray works good, if not you’ll probably need some concrete screws, a decent drill, and wire mesh dense enough to keep out mice. Step 2 is get a cat. Step 3 is use the entirely humane bucket method, you god damn heathenous monster.

Not big on cats?
Something funky going on here.
Once you obtain food and shelter the next most important step is to
obtain a cat.
Go to the animal rescue and ask for a cat that doesnt scratch.
If you treat the cat with love The cat will love you
Pretty fucking simple really and one of the best parts of life

How to get rid of a mouse:

- Buy a cat
- Get rid of the cat with a dog
- Get rid of the dog with a mountain lion
- Get rid of the mountain lion with a rhino
- Get rid of the rhino with an elephant
- Get rid of the elephant with a mouse.

Should solve your problem OP.

if I don't put my lunch in a legit bag a mouse can't get into then sometimes mice will get in my lunch. I kept it in my locker b/c people would steal it

I caught a mouse in the house and set it free. If you can, try to scare it into a small room, and your chances of catching it by hand will be much better.

Im not going to try to catch it by hand lol. If the mouse is still here by my next day off(tuesday) I will create a gauntlet out of glue traps regular traps and bucket tek.

Had a hungry kingsnake and a mouse problem once. Would catch mice, throw em in the terrarium and she would gobble them up.

It was a beautiful symbiosis. No mouse went to waste.

Don't sweat it, I find that the mice who are bothersome are the same ones who will fall for traps.  Just let the poor thing live out it's little mouse life, I mean there is only one it won't reproduce.
