Where is the Parliament are they voting to legalize Cannabis in Canada?

Hey,

Please help me out, my mother has Cancer and she screams her head off in agony.

I read in the news that the bill to legalize cannabis in Canada called Bill C-45 'bill will now need to be supported by the Senate to become law.'

I have tried searching online but I am new to computers and not good at the internet , may you please tell me which Senate is this? My mother wants to visit and remember that day for the short time while she lives..

And is the Senate the final step to getting weed legalized?.

Here is the status of the bill right now:

https://openparliament.ca/bills/42-1/C-45/

It's in the Senate for the second reading. After three readings there is a vote. Th readings are rounds of editing the bill, adding/removing, changing things until the Senate is satified with the bill. If they are satisfied they will vote for, if not, they will vote against and shut it all down. It's very unlikely it will be shot down though. To much expectation and planning has be put into this.

The Senate address is Wellington St, Ottawa, ON K1A 0A4. You can go there in person to see the vote happen whenever the vote will be held. If you can't make it in person, you can watch it happen live on CPAC

Just get her some weed man. Street weed is high quality stuff up here.

Not sure what your question is here exactly but medical Cannabis is legal in Canada. If she needs it she can be seen by a doctor or you could likely just go and get some for her at a dispensary depending where you are.

What does your mom having cancer and marijuana legalization have in common?  I'm sure you can easily get marijuana in Canada if you tried.

Medical marijuana is already legal in Canada is it not? Sure as hell your mom would qualify...... and I'm pretty sure you guys have good buds...fucking everywhere on the street. It was when I was there.

That bill is for the legalisation of recreational cannabis. Medicinal cannabis has been legal all over the entire country for some time now... Just bring her to a doctor and she can have legal cannabis that day.

Or is there some other reason? Is she a huge activist and wants to see recreational cannabis legalised before she passes?

medical weed is legal here. my cousin has a weed script for her cancer. you can also get it off the street, you can go to a recreational dispensary if they have them in your area, you can even order weed online in Canada, even though its illegal its not going through customs so you cant get caught. they advertise out in the open and dont even try to hide it. i wont tell you what the website is called though because i think thats against the rules. sorry to hear about your mom.

She is a activist and wants to be there when it passes.

I have searched online for this :

Wellington weed Senate canada

but can't find any any source for this address Wellington St, Ottawa, ON K1A 0A4.

What number room are they in? (for example I saw online there is Parliament 360, and then there are other rooms) My friend will be watching online hours before to light up and enjoy...

Oh, well that's pretty damn cool that she's an activist. Definitely try your hardest to get her there so she can see it firsthand happening right in front of her own eyes. It seems like something like that would be very important to her at this point in her life.

The Senate is in the red chamber of the center block of Parliament. There wil be plenty of guards that can show you the way once you get there.
