I don't know about worship but I try to be thankful for the many things that give us all life.

Aside from actually sustaining us with nourishment/energy without the sun and many other things life would never have made it this far.

How are acts like these so different than praying?

Not talking to you personally but I see so many atheists who do all sorts of hippy dippy stiff but then turn around and mock people that pray or go to church

There's a bit of a contradiction, worship the animals you eat but you're atheist/agnostic.  Which is it?  You can say you respect the animals you eat.

That's what I'm talking about. It's the experience of having a deep sense of reverence that I packaged up into the word, "worship". So yes, it's about a respect and gratitude for the life that I sacrificed for my health and vitality, whether by a rifle or bank note.

I hope when we die we can see our life stats, like all the food and drinks we consumed over the years. All the drugs we did, all the air we breathed :strokebeard:

It would be really cool to see, might help put the cost of life in perspective to see everything that went into just 1 human life.

So like are you 100% carnivore, or do you eat plant foods but don't consider them to count, or what? Sounds kinda more pantheist than atheist though.

There is some billion cows on Earth.

Yes sure I have feelings about it.  Mostly eat goats, chicken and fish for meat these days. 

The only thing I really worship is mushrooms, cactus and advice from those that enlightened.  Can't even take all that too seriously.  Beliefs are dangerous, they tend to blind.

In principle, I don't eat plants. Only eat from the animal kingdom. But my two biggest weaknesses are macadamia nuts and avocados. Can't resist those every once in a while. So I do have more reason to feel thankful for the animals I eat than someone who only eats meat very occasionally.

Meat is the easiest on my digestive system. I'm never bloated, I fart about three times a year, and my poops are smaller and less frequent. Plus, my mood is more stable and my skin is clearer. In short, I'm just happier when I eat only fresh, fat meat and drink water.

when you eat food and beverage,

and then your body processes it and you poop it out,

the poop goes down the drain (it must go into a drain, pooping on ground is a different process) into the great macrocosm,

where it will be turned into an astroid.


all your poop asteroids fly through space

until the reach your "planet"

where in a panspermia fashion they will collide with the planet

and deposit your microbiome onto the planet


before your poop asteroids arrived the planet was a sterile environment

now the planet is colonized by you



on some planets you will find no animals, only vegetation

on other planets, things like coffee don't exist

also because your unique biochemistry/microbiome things will combine in new ways

and things that have never formed before will be created


of course, God created this whole process


they have cool movies where you can see each planet being colonized



you LITERALLY are what you eat

not figuartively

when you consume cow DNA you are becoming cow

you are not you, you are the foods you eat
