That time of year is upon us once again my fellow Shroomery minions!
With Halloween just around the corner I know some of you talented folks just have to get down on some pumpkin carvings.
I invite everyone to post the pumpkins ye be carvin'!

I'm 32 years old and this is the first pumpkin carving I have ever done. It's a little crude looking but whatever. Growing up we didn't really celebrate Halloween, so when my bro invited me to carve down on some pumpkins last night I was intrigued. I underestimated the effort some people must put into making these. I started really late and finished up around 5am. I went to bed leaving the living-room completely littered with pumpkin shavings.

It looks really awesome with the multi-colored leg light and I wish I could muster the effort to make an animated gif of it. Looking back over the pictures I noticed some areas I could touch up a little bit and might go back over later tonight.

That pikachu and minecraft one are dope dude! Those took some real skill. Did you use any kind of stencil? I didn't use a stencil, but I did sketch it out before hand and then I stuck the paper to the pumpkin after I submerged it in water. Don't worry about copying me or anything, I'd really be interested in seeing another take on a Rick and Morty pumpkin.

Work is having a pumpkin painting contest. Considering getting a lil pumpkin and entering. I just dunno if I'll have time though.

I just sketched it on the pumpkin first. no stencil

The parts where you need to remove skin need to be done before carving the pumpkin or it gets too weak.
I just used a small serrated steak knife and a paring knife. and an ice cream scoop for the scraper

I'll be carving this week sometime so I'll post when its done.
