They won't. The media is just fear mongering because the elite are dying for more war. Once the warfare ends so does their war profiteering. I think Kim is smarter than we give him credit for. By developing nukes he can effectively blackmail wealthy countries to give him aid. If the US tries to invade they launch a nuke at Japan or SK the US won't risk millions of dead as collateral damage.


Exactly. Everyone is assuming the man is an idiot for some reason. Any rational person in his position would be pushing toward nuclear power. For someone who is as much of a pariah as Kim nukes may be his only chance to avoid being over thrown by foreign agitators.

I think it was interesting- Steve Bannon's interview a day before he was fired. He basically said two things:

1) There is no answer to NK. They have the US beat. If anything went down, there would be a catastrophic level of civilian causalties (Seoul)...from conventional weapons alone. It's a population of 10million!!! I don't even think it's possible to evacuate a city like that. 

2) North Korea is a "side show". Bannon cited the real war being an economic one with China and NK is just a distraction. I don't know if he meant it is a "side show" by design.

Sometimes a persons most candid words are the one's preceeding their departure. Kind of makes you wonder

I agree. Kim is one sneaky bastard. Hes playing a chess game and no ones knows the next move.


The blackmail option definitely seems likely here. But i also think they wanna be "badass" and actually nuke a city. I think they want to be top dog and feel powerful.

Thats why they keep testing rockets too. To see if it can carry a nuke across the ocean. Time will tell.....

We kill people left and right on suspicion, obummer had kids with joysticks flying drones around shooting up people with rockets if they looked funny. And everyone over there looked funny. So why not a targeted surgical strike with cruise missiles? Take out fat man and what do you think will happen?

I think once kim is out his generals will have a big fight to see who becomes top dog. That will be their first priority. They will of course make the usual empty threats of revenge but first things first. The fight might be long and bloody and by the time one of them emerges on top, they may have forgotten about the revenge. They may even say lets try the other option, negotiate and get a huge payoff for transparent dismantling of the nuke program. Since the big guy is out, trump will not lose face by negotiating and other countries will sweeten the pot. Problem solved, everybody is happy.
