it was detonated underground, although i believe that it was only 2000 feet down in a shaft.....

We should just pull out of Iraq and attack North Korea, atleast there will be a fight with North Korea. Which country likes North Korea anyways?? Maybe we can get the US's approval rating out of the negatives by doing so!

And now all countries that feel threatened by NK's nukes will get their own. Of course this means they won't need the World Police (USA) to help protect them. Which means America loses its "superpower" status. And why not stretch that a little further and just say bring on the NWO.

Has anybody other than the North Korean government confirmed this supposed successful nuclear test?

"China, the North’s closest ally, said Beijing "resolutely opposes" the North Korean nuclear test and hopes Pyongyang will return to disarmament talks."
This is good.

No, that's just typical American denial. The relationships between the nations have a huge impact on what directions are taken, and with what attitude they are taken.

If they do then hopefully the US follows their lead. What's scarier is that they probably are already aware, yet still blind.

Why does everyone get their panties in a bunch when other nations want to have nukes?
The only reason they want them is because WE have them........and try to tell THEM that they cant have them.
Quote:
The North said last week it would conduct a nuclear test as part of its deterrent against a possible U.S. invasion.
I guarantee you that if Afghanistan or Iraq had nukes.........we would not have been so quick to invade them.
If America wants to improve it's image, world-wide, they need to start selling nukes. Sell them at 2x what it costs the U.S. to make. Sell them to any country that can afford one, with the fore-knowledge that if you use one on us, we use many on you. Pretty soon the whole planet will have nukes. America will be wealthier and every one will be too scared to use them.
Ever heard of a "balance of power"? As long as there is a vast difference of power between nations, there will always be conflict.
