I've attempted extended periods refraining from ejaculation.

I'd be interested in hormone panel blood tests and neurochemical tests to
measure the different states.

While I will never go celibate (at least while I'm healthy), I do think there is some extra fire to be used without release.

What are some of your observances Conn, and is that a year and a half of no self-fornication either?

nah I've never tried to go that route, not yet at least

gonna put some consideration into it maybe but i don't know if it would pose much benefit

I've def killed a lot of knuckle babies this past year and a half

I'm not celibate, but being totally unfuckable is a pretty important part of my identity.  :shrug:

Being a victim is too much work though, so I just chock it up to sound judgement on the part of those who lack a Y-chromosome.

18 months, until 2 days ago. I set myself a period of 12 months, and decided at 12 it was doing me so much good I added an extra 6 months. However after that, the abstinence was no longer necessary. I learned what I needed to about myself, which was much. But we're animals that are meant to fuck, and I loooooove to fuck.

It was worth it, 100%, but there comes a point where you hit declining returns for your effort...

don't pay to play man, those chicks do that because their bf's most likely already have hpv or something...

I am celibate but it's more because of money and not having time
hooking up for fun would be cool but not worth the dirty feeling after

That's how I feel. I was involuntarily celibate for many years because I was shy, unsocial and had no idea how to pick up girls. More recently I've discovered its actually not that hard to pick up girls if you are willing to put in the time and effort into hunting for them and gain experience in talking to them.

But I still find it hard to enter into a long term relationship due to my personal problems and I am hesitant to have sex with strangers. Last night I had an opportunity to have sex but I honestly didn't want to. I just wanted to cuddle with her and hold her body close up against mine. Learning how to care about girls instead of hating them for being the bane of my existence is what I need right now.

Avoiding HPV is a useless exercise. If you have sex you're gonna have HPV infections.
