Being transgender doesn't affect someones ability to serve their country. It is not a mental illness. The only thing that transgender people normally have is a hormone deficiency. If cis people can take hormone supplements and serve then so should trans people. This just perpetuates the stereotype that all trans people are mental illness cases.

That's stupid.  Why would you assume that someone with GID is any less stable or physically weaker than someone without it?  Most people who join the military do so because they had no other option out of high school.  It's not exactly the brightest and the best as it is.

gender dysphoria is a mental disorder, statistically transgender people have a higher rate of suicide, depression, etc (even after gender reassignment surgery)

To separate the suicide rate from how most of society treats us like shit
would also be a dishonest portrayal of those statistics. People on The Shroomery could easily drive someone weaker willed to suicide. People on the shroomery are good examples as to why the suicide rate is so high, among other things. Looking like a transwoman is literally one of the worst things to be in western society. Its one of the worst thigns to be on the shroomery, apparently.
