Don't listen to that guy. Most definitely do not take any psychedelics while in withdrawal stages. What a nightmare fuel inducing chance that would be.  You can't withdrawal while tripping my ass.

Chances are you would still feel sick, just in a different way.  You're psychological state (depression, anxiety, etc) is already in the shitter from a brain chemistry standpoint and adding in psychedelics would just just clusterfuck that all in your face.  You might learn something about yourself sure, or you might want to kill yourself and make the attempt.  Set and setting are already sort of the core pillars of good psychedelic usage as is for standard healthy people.  Holy fuck I can't even imagine if I was dope sick or even suffering the longer term minor withdrawals how bad a trip could be.

Back to your issue.  You really shouldn't have been on subs for a long period of time. They work best for short term taper down quitting to minimize major withdrawal symptoms.  Most docs will want you on them for a few weeks to a month, maybe two at most if your goal is to quit.

Since you are at the point where you have formed an addiction to the subs you need to continue your taper down.  At some point you are just going to have to man up and deal with some negative effects tho.  There are withdrawal like symptoms you will have for quite a long time after the main withdrawal is long over.  Hyper sensitivity, insomnia, depression, anxiety.

I highly highly suggest you get yourself into proper treatment and go over a plan with a doctor. There are medications they can give you to mitigate the withdrawal, some have their own addiction and abuse risks, others not so much, but it sounds like you are struggling try to go it alone and a proper care system in place can make all the difference on your success or failure.

Good luck man, stay strong.  If you want it bad enough you can find a way to make it happen.

That's what I figured I never have had a problem coming off any drugs. It just seems like everyone else says it's going to be awful. Maybe we all have a different idea of what awful is. When I told myself I was done with the sub I meant it. It's just creating a new problem I'd hate to be dependent on sub. Thanks for the positive vibes

thats because they have zero clue what they are talking about

anyone who tells you that quitting doing under 50mg of oxycodone or hydrocodone a day is "horrible" has zero clue what they are saying

now if it was more like 100mg of those a day that would be a different story let alone if it was hundreds of mgs a day

i know someone who used to do 50-100 5mg hydrocodones in a cold water extraction a day

Yeah I'm not going to dose. But I also feel like I taper down enough over the past two months I've been doing smaller and smaller slices off the strip (I only took 8 mg one time the first day I got them) this  last one wasn't even a milligram. When I put my mind to something I get it done. I don't think the with draws will be as bad as I'm told- I could be wrong but I just feel fine I can't imagine them having any meds to give me to help that I don't already have gabapentin clonodine klonopin xanax baclofeb just everything ive ever been prescribed to, once I'm done with it I don't throw the rest of it out I stash it. The doctor offered Clonodine I have it he offered gab I have tons of these meds because I don't abuse my medicine I take it right for the most part(plus clonodine makes me feel yucky and I just don't want to have to take gabapentin daily. Except for a few of them or they give you way too much of it then I go online and research how much I really should take. I'm not trying to get hooked on anything as strong as suboxone. I guess you said that I'm addicted to it but usually when I'm addicted to something I crave it and stuff this right here I dread taking and will never take it again unless some sort of bad withdrawal occurs.

I might have misunderstood a little, it was a bit hard to follow without paragraphs n stuff.  Anyway, if you haven't actually stopped enough to feel any withdrawal symptoms then you need to just do that first and foremost.  You can always take another minimum sub dose if it turns out the withdrawals are more then you can handle or want to cope with.  Just remember that you need to be prepared to not feel great.

Your dosages are fairly low.  As long as you havn't been using for years and years every day that way then your withdrawals will probably feel like you have a cold or the flu for a bit.  Your general anxiety and energy levels will probably ying yang a bit as well.

But regardless you need to just do it and start getting sick first before you worry about the other stages.  Gabbapentin btw will help quite a bit and since it is a different class of drugs and a fairly safe one you wouldnt just be subbing one addiction for another like you take the risk with benzo's on.

If the withdrawals do turn out to be too much, take the least amount of subs as possible, or try the gabbapentin first or clonodine, etc.  You also do want to make sure you spread it out enough that you are getting a little sick each time and try to spread the timing out farther and farther apart.  If you just keep dosing enough to stay totally normal then you will never quite kick any time soon.

Sorry you won't get paragraphs out of me unless I have a computer I'm on a small ass iPhone in fact it's the smallest shittiest one they make.

Yes gabs seem helpful but I'm on 4mg of  klonopin daily I have to be able to function some what. I've tried getting off benzos as well but I have a serious problem with seizures and sleep paralysis without them
Sometimes life sucks I'll ride it out and see if i get sick. My only problem so far is minor heart flutters and I got those before the sun on occasion anyways. Also when I stand and do some stuff my heart can speed up, I'm thinking Clonodine would help this i just  hate not being able to function. I have stuff to do and I have to pretend I feel good it really sucks so I'm throwing a pitty party... everyone's invited

I took 10mg of hydrocodone and I feel great I didn't get sick but I feel hot and sweaty the hydro took that away. Believe what you want, it's not as bad as they say if your dose has been 1-2mg jump off after 40-50 hours and take a hydrocodone or a oxycodone and get back to baseline suboxone was ruining my life. My doctor understands and I'm taking vicoden again. I would take oxy but I was a little worried as everyone says to not take anything. I think so much misinformation is going around about sub.

I'm very thankful I'm getting through this without much bad side effects.
Try not to listen to everyone who says I can't just come off of it. It's a scary thought and I know other people probably would give up  through and listen to the advice and stay on the subs- even if they were causing them problems. You can get off of it if you want. Just get down to 1mg and stop... benzos helped me majorly I think just klonopin. I feel so normal again like muself now that I took the vike although I don't think it's working like usual. I had to come
Back and edit my spelling after reading what I typed out now I'm going to bed

Well the doctors plan is to get back to vicoden. So I don't think I will have the horrid withdrawals .. and your right, I know your right because I felt as if I took the hydrocodone to help ease the withdrawl in the first place.

The people that say you can't just come off it are people that have done it & know what they're talking about. I came off at around 1mg per day & was experiencing acute withdrawal for nearly a month. The misinformation is the bullshit big pharma tries to push that it's "not an opioid" & "it's a non-addictive treatment for opioid addiction." You feel ok now because you're taking opioids.

WHATEVER YOU DO, DO NOT TAKE PSYCHEDELICS IN THIS STATE! Don't listen to anyone who says you just need some introspection. Psyches at this point are a terrible idea. Wait until you're clean and feeling well again or at least maintaining on something that actually makes you feel normal, which you are not right now.

Ok, there are a couple of issues to address here. I read your posts, it was tricky because of the wall of texts and the grammar you used while feeling the way you were.

First off, nobody here can tell you exactly what to take due to Forum Rules. What we can do is tell you our own personal experiences and/or what we would do if we individually were in your place. As you have already stated, we all have different body chemistries and react differently to various drugs.

It seems like you're feeling better now that you are back on your hydrocodone. I would continue taking that rather than subs.

I have a question about the subs. You said you were getting heart flutters. Was that a direct result of taking the subs? As in, when you dose the subs your heart starts feeling funny? Or did you start feeling that way when you were coming off the subs? This sounds like a serious issue that you should speak to your doctor about.

Also regarding the heart issue, were you taking your full and proper daily dose of the klonopin at the time or were you trying to taper? I personally would NOT try to taper and come off both at the same time. One thing at a time.

Regarding the kratom. Subs include naloxone, so opioids should not be taken until you're (anybody) in full blown withdrawal from subs or else your risk precipitated withdrawal. (I think so anyways, I could be wrong, please correct me if I'm mistaken).

It seems though from your last posts that you're feeling a hell of a lot better now that you have switched back to the hydrocodone. I know I'm repeating myself but I have another point to make. It sounds like the pills treat you a lot better than the subs do, and you're prescribed them by your doctor. Staying on them and not doing subs sounds like a solid plan if I was in your shoes. If I were to want to quit the pills, I would then switch directly from pills to kratom, rather than subs -> kratom.

I was on a methadone maintenance program for a long time. It took me a while to taper down, but when I eventually quit, I had absolutely zero withdrawals (mainly because I tapered all the way to 1mg and then just stopped taking my dose one day on a whim). Maintenance programs should be tapered gradually, slowly and steadily to avoid painful withdrawal. You should work directly with your doctor during this time and not do it on your own. Heart issues are not normal for these programs. You should absolutely consult your doctor about this!

I didn't take any psychedelics but I've stayed on the hydrocodone it's been 132 hours since last sub doses. The only thing that makes me sick is he fact I can't smoke weed in this state of withdrawl other than that.... well I didn't experience anything as horrible as I was expecting. Not even any nausea.everyones different?

I got the flutters in my heart when I took the suboxone and for 72 hours after I came off of it.

I was not taking my correct amount of klonopin because when I did the flutters got worse, I'm now back taking klonopin and hydrocodone. I have kratom but I have some pain that it doesn't always fix.

I appreciate all the help from u guys and the subs are all a big lie money hoax bull shit can't get your dick hard or anything I'm never taking that stuff again.... unless you pay me I was paying 150 bucks a month to feel miserable.

Kinda worried about my heart I only had flutters while
Taking sub and for 72 hrs coming off I was also
A big weed smoker but cold turkeyed that at the same time as benzos so I'm
Not sure what causes the flutters? Kinda scary, I haven't felt that feeling from anything else before.

Yea man, please get it checked out. That's scary.

It could end up being something minor. I had random chest pains last year and I was convinced I had a heart attack. I went to my doctor and he took my blood pressure, listened to my heart and poked my chest in a few places and told me it's cramps in my chest muscles and joints. He even had a medical name for the condition.

It's not something to ignore though, especially since your issues arose with your change in medications.

I'm off suboxone I had to go back to hydrocodone suboxone is a horror story and doesn't help my pain like oxy and hydro. I think a 30mg a day hydrocodone habit is healthier feeling than suboxone as every time I took over 2mg of sub I was up all night considering going to the ER. My doctor said I should see if suboxone helped. It's all about the money and If you have not figur d that out- when it comes to suboxone Orr the other one methadone it's a scam they put me on 16mg of suboxone for a 30mg a day habit. I couldn't even have sex with my girl friend or relax or even be myself. That is a very strong drug whether you believe  it is.. or you believe 30mg of hydrocodone a day is worse  than subs... your nuts or have way different brain chemistry than me. I am not on these meds for fun, it actually sucks ass. I'm in my early 20s I don't want this shit- now how much are all these subs worth? Lol I can't take that Shit and I'm scared to sell it because I don't want someone to die. Ill probably flush them... that's like $300 of sub doctor appointments sadly that guy was going to kill me.

Well 142 hours off from cold turkeyibg about 2mg daily the last dose was 1mg  I couldn't take that stuff anymore it was running my life. And not because I liked it so (uggghhh)much doing more of it than I was supposed to just because it has an adverse reaction with me it happens were allwired differently. But I advise everybody to stay this far away from Suboxone as possible especially if you enjoy the euphoria you got from anything else (weed included) because once you're on Suboxone I wasn't even able to feel happy.(I probably would have killed myself myself the dark though sub  was giving me I decided it's my life and just quit didn't even get sick  It depressed me very quickly and all the doctors want you to stay on it because they make money. I'm not a guinea pig

It was the doctors idea they are strict on pain meds unless u go to a clinic. I luckily don't have to go to a clinic but ive been on the same stuff for as long as I can remember I Have no idea why the doctor did this. At first I I guess I was ok with it he made it sound great no drug test either it was to good to be true. Don't fall for that stuff.... it's way worse than. Hydro I mean I'm not sick but I'm a mess. They wanted to see if they could control my pain with suboxone and said it was helaitheir than vicoden so they put me on 16mg a day I had to stop it quick it was messing me up badly. I could not function I only took 8mg once though I have 120 of these things. I guess one thing I love that as I've been trying to skip drug test. They are strict about weed in my state.

i was on subs for a year, i needed about 3/4 of mg strip to stay well all day.  My mom is on disability and they tried to pull that shit on her 4x 30's roxis switched to 2mg strip once a day for "pain management". Give me a fuckin break with that shit. suboxone is really the biggest bullshit for pain its only use is keeping fentanyl and heroin hardcore addicts 'well' for the day.  For anyone with a minor habit like you theres no reasons these stupid doctors have to not write you a script other than the whole fucking medical system is a sham.
