im mean why whould sombody buy a another strain when they already know which one is the the most potent?

Some people claim a difference in trips from different strains. I've never experienced that personally, but it doesn't mean it isn't true. I collect different strains for the novelty and hobby of it. Also, if for some reason a strain I have becomes hard to get, I'll be able to hand out prints.

Quite welcome. I meant to mention another important point, which is that they tend to grow a little differently. Some seem to colonize faster than others, some tend to produce skinny mushrooms, etc.

There really is no significant difference between strains. The same alkaloids are responsible for the effects. There may be slight differences do to minor secondary alkaloids but you cannot compare it to mj where there are many isomers of THC that bind to different receptors giving different results from different strains.

Therefor any difference percieved is primariyl a result of set.
