different strains, different colinization??
    #886933 - 09/17/02 12:47 AM (14 years, 10 months ago)

My first casings were equadorian. Did pretty well, when I cased them in 3-1, the mycillium covered it in an equal even layer, then pinned. Now I am trying some other strains, Huauntuala, and hawaiian and the mycillium has come up in little balls the size of a q-tip head. I still have my colony below this growth and when I ball some up and smell it it smells right, but seems to take longer to pin. I did a dunk tek in 10% h202 in fridge on cakes.

each strain looks a bit different [some more some less] and each strain reacts or live differently...
