Id say about ten 5 inch shrooms with 1 inch open caps would be about 30-40 grams.

Im a reall newbie to the game. But it all depends on the shroom. I grew some amazonian and ive ate 30 grams fresh before and it looked like somebody was squeezing the tv like a zit. and my coffee table bowed in like a conoe. But i ate one stem that weighed about 10 grams last weekend. And i think it was one of the best visual experiences of my life. The whole wall was dancing around and my neighbors house turned into a used car lot and a sea of color in the air.. I just think it varys from shroom to shroom weed plant to weed plant line to line. Ive heard the cyan's are great though. Although i think it is great that growing info is out there so we can actually get high off something natural. Because we all know our parents fucked the whole acid thing up for us starting a whole damn revolution over it. i know i got off the subject but i love visuals natural visuals there the best. and maybe some sleep deprived visuals. sorry ill shut the hell up now.

Buy a scale. It is almost impossible for me to answer that question. What do you consider a good size mushroom to be? I consider a good sized mushroom to be about 20 grams fresh, but others probably have a different opinion on that. You really need a scale.
