my subconscious wants the song to play, and it plays

Has it ever happened to you that just when you want a specific song to play on the radio, it starts playing after the song before that? This has happened plenty of times and it's no longer a coincidence. My reaction has always been whoa no way.

It only happens subconsciously when I really want the song to play, not when I force it or "wish it" to play. In other words, it can't be demonstrated. I can't demonstrate it as we speak but it did happen plenty of times already that it's no longer a coincidence. There had to be a way to master this phenomenon so that it could be demonstrated. Then again once it could be demonstrated people will jump to assumption that it's just a magic trick or that I know the playlist! :tongue:

Could be coincidence but synchronicity has entirely to do with God
God is the supreme reality. We can know things beyond our physical visualization if we are atoned to the reality of God, say I know what day something will happen because reality/God consists of that event happening on that day even if that day is 10 days away. Same concept with radio, we may know that a song is going to play because is is God ordained that it will play next, just like the way we might start thinking of a song in public because that song was in someone's head whom we walked by and picked up on their frequency/vibe because of that song. Only way to know is to grow closer to God

Synchronicity is interesting but try to enhance or change your perception. Purify it by meditating on the Self/God and filling yourself with bliss. If you get to see the divine nature of the reality around you, you will never be unfulfilled in life again.

Yes, and BOTH occurred with 'Stairway to Heaven'! Once when I was editing my page on Classmates.com maybe half a dozen years ago where a caption to a picture I had posted was a lyric from the Led Zeppelin song, the song came on Pandora. The earlier time occurred in the early 1970s when I was painting a long banister and posts on a staircase with pastel colors and wishing that 'Stairway to Heaven' would come on the air. It DID! Like some Quantum Entanglement, one event occurred in the 2000s and one occurred some 30 years earlier, but the events seemed Synchronistic with what I was doing/thinking at the times.

More frequently than this, although I'm certain there have been other times, is what Rupert Sheldrake calls "telephone telepathy." Numerous times since childhood I'll think of a person a moment before the phone rings and it's that person. I remember talking smack about a husband of a cousin who was living in Ohio while I was in my folks' backyard in NJ. Damned if that guy didn't suddenly appear from the side of the house! They were visiting at that moment. Synchronicity is an "acausal connecting principle." It has to do with the Collective Unconscious, not the personal unconscious which you and some early theorists referred to as the subconscious. The Collective Unconscious is, like the Chinese notion of Tao, which gave C.G. Jung his idea of Synchronicity through the Sinologist Richard Wilhelm (who translated the I Ching), it is an ordering principle that involves both the psychical and the physical.

It is not your subconscious, it is at conscious level if you know that it wants that specific song.

If it was subconscious you wouldn't know and find yourself listening that song. However, subconscious communicates indirectly. A bad example: dreaming of being shocked by an electric socket may mean it wants you to listen AC/DC - Thunderstruck :smile:
