What is this beauty? Blewit? Russula?
    #24257956 -

Found it under some leaves under mostly deciduous wood. Cap looks like a magnolia flower colour, purple white to pink. Snow white stem. Attached gills but not descending. Bulbous towards bottom.

Im not sure about obtuse, but i dont think i would be able to key that out with a picture alone.

I would say its not worth eating, and a little old. they tend to be bug ridden.

does it smell like anything in particular?

Not at all bug ridden just a little torn up from my journey. Since I know its a russula I held a bit on my tongue. Quite peppery. My sister said it smells like a flower? But not distinctly fragrant.

another characteristic of Russula is that they're often extremely fragile.  when out with a noob i'll take a pristine Russula, show it to them and then throw it up about ten feet in the air, letting it drop to the ground...a Russula will explode into many, many bits when it hits the ground.

Interestingly, this is because they have round cells, so they are prone to come apart very very easily.

how would you know the size of my penis and what bearing does it have on this thread anyway?  you've got a bit of a penis obsession across a few different threads.

Penis size = knowledge and ability to convey said knowledge based on experience. That's going to be my assumption. So... Take it as a compliment? and let's all remain civil  as well as completely ambiguous.
