so i waz peakin at some jarz and a thought popped in my head.. out of curiosity, iz it possible to transfer myc. from one jar to the other as to speed up myc growth for a jar that may be laggin behind or if colinization wont start in a certain spot? thought it'd be an interesting exper... iz that possible?

Well, it's done most often with grain, such as WBS, to innoculate new substrate. Just make sure that you practice sterility.

If you have an air space in your jars, you could just shake them if they alreay have some mycellium growth, spread it around.

If mycellium isn't growing in a particular spot, it could be due to bacteria, or improper water content in that spot, so adding mycellium in that case wouldn't help much.

im thinking, like if a couple pieces of verm have decent growth, you could juz like transfer the grain and place it somewhere on the other jar and juz have the myc. transfer itself from the little grain to the rest of verm in the other jar as to aid the jar in the process of colinization.... another thought popped into my head, what would happened if you mixed strains, would one dominate the other or would they mix? so many options...
