Is that coir by itself, no additives?

That first tub looks like the spawn wasnt spread as even as the other into the substrate. Other than that, looking nice...:mushroom2:

Yeah, it's coir all by itself. You are correct about the lack of spreading the substrate evenly. Probably why it colonized slower than the 2nd tub.


This is the Cambodian tray. It's going slow b/c it's cold as shit here in New England and its mid-May. I tried to tell the shrooms its not time to grow yet, but they don't listen...

Anybody know what would cause all this side pinning? There are also a bunch of knots forming on the bottom. It's kept in the complete dark.
