Just moved here last week!  lookin for a job.  anyone from the area have any ideas?  i have lots of restaurant experience, mostly makin pizzas.

Every time I look for a new job I really lose faith towards the end. I get so down on myself and just feel real shitty.

I just found a job yesterday but in CA.

Wanted to say I believe in you. Shit's tough but life finds a way.

Welcome to Oregon!

Jobs in Oregon are tough to find right now. If you are looking for a food/restaurant job, shouldn't have too much trouble though. If you don't have luck in Eugene you would probably have better luck in Portland.

Fairly hard to make it these days on restaurant wages. I know the rent is cheaper in Eugene than it is in the Portland metro area.. But apartments in the Portland metro area are running $1500+ for just a two bedroom.

Seems like everyone and their MOM wants to move to Oregon (no offense). Hopefully our housing prices stabilize soon as my wife and I are getting ready to buy one.

Eugene is great!  I would love to live there again if I could get work in the area.  For now, Im stuck in Portland.  I would always suggest finding a job before moving.  You are there already though... Good luck!

Eugene is known for two main things: their music culture and their resturants. There are TONS of resturants, im sure u could find something.

Try applying to Pizza research institute OP - they make some legit pies :vaped:

Sizzle Pie might be lulz to work at too if you like that kind of environment and watching crazy shit happening in kesey square every day.

Mezza luna is my favorite pizza joint in town by far, Pegasus pizza  makes some great stuff too though :awesomenod:

If you get your medical card you could try applying at some dispensaries, recreational ones might just need people who are 21+ too. Could be a sweet job.

I have known a few people who worked at Venture data doing phone surveys and stuff, doesn't seem like the best job though unless you need the $ and can't find anything.
