More surface area on Earth consisting of water will bring temperatures lower due to less heat retention on land from the sun.

Eventually deserts will once AGAIN be oceans, or fertile valleys, and vice versa.

It's just Eart, man. It's what it does, and it's pretty fucking cool.

Mass extinction due to climate change anytime soon, or at least in my lifetime seems ludicrous.

I saw snow on the sand dunes here in CO and that shit blew my mind.

Article isn't wholely accurate. The desert gets a light snow every decade or so. What's rare is how long it snowed, how well it stuck, and the region it hit, which hasn't seen snow since 1979.


I'm glad they went to tell everyone that snow in the desert doesn't mean global warming doesn't exist tho.
