Describe what you believe in that ending.  It seems to be just another Hollywood Ending, dude gets whacked and is all happy about it.  The lovely music also contributed to the scene.  What, he's in Heaven now and can see above all the stuff?  I don't get it but to each his own, seems like a Christian type ending to me.

Somehow those later Etrade commercials spoiled the scene for me.  But, if you've ever had an Etrade account you would understand. 

I suppose were I to appreciate what I have then I would never keep improving property, I could just sit around appreciating while it appreciates?  Hopefully.

I really want less, but have so much stuff it's hard to get excited about material possessions alone.  In fact it becomes a basic pain in the ass dragging it around from one location to another.  I have so much building materials it's sick but you can't toss out that stuff, just hope to recycle it to another use.  That's what I'm doing now, reconstructing a structure with mostly stuff that has been laying around.

Building materials are a different story to regular clutter so I don't understand your situation.

Even so I think you defined what your tools mean to you based on how you used them.

Cleaning for me became easier when I asked myself if I really fucking needed a thing that cluttered my place. A lot of it I didn't so every now and then I throw some old stuff out and clean up around the place.

I think it's good for the mind every now and then to clear your work space.

Part of the "problem" is that I typically end up with three of everything if you know what I mean.  Clutter is a way of life, such as my paperwork "system" which is to throw it all in a pile and worry about it later as in tax time. 

I'm always suspicious of people who have too clean and neat of a house or worse, a clean desk top.  It's not a good sign IMO.
