This might be like preaching to the converted but.. Don't you think the finest points in roger waters "the final cut" is when gilmour plays his gutiar? Shit I ove the final cut all the way through but when the moments come when they play together as band it tugs on my emotional strings.... what do yall think?

Yeah, I seem to remember Gilmour saying that some of his best work was on that album. It's definitely the least "band-like" of the real Pink Floyd albums, but it does have its moments. I haven't listened too it in a while, but the tracks that seem to stick out in my mind are "The Gunner's Dream," "The Final Cut," and "Not Now John." Those were some good tracks!

PS: So, is Roger ever gonna finish that damn opera? I thought it was in the can two years ago, but I have yet to see it available...

That's one of my favorite Pink Floyd albums! I have it on vinyl

Oh man, definitely. I've broken down crying on a few friendly chems listening to it. It's my favorite cd to listen to on almost any substance, next to The Division Bell.
