    #1431643 - 04/05/03 05:14 PM (14 years, 8 months ago)

He mentions the name Maggie a few times on this album.

Anyone know who he's refering to?

The final cut is by far my favorite floyd album.

Really? It's their worst IMO. That and the division bell.

In terms of sheer crapness I don't think you can beat "A Momentary Lack Of Reason." Terrible stuff. Although if you're counting live albums, The Delicate Sound Of Thunder is pretty bad, contains a really bad version of Comfortably Numb which basically ruins the song.

i agree with amlor and tfc, but the division bell does have some great songs... high hopes, lost for words, coming back to life, cluster one... and tfc/amlor aren't that bad either, just considered they are floyd albums. if any of you had made them, i'd be pretty impressed. i'd say anything with david gilmours guitar in it is pretty fucken good music.

After getting it on vinyl it has become one of my favorite floyd albums. Love the lyrics!

Man, I forgot about that album. I put it on once when I was tripping and two minutes into "Learning to Fly" my brain was like, ugh, get me out of here. I love the Floyd but they have made some bad tunes to stack alongside their amazing ones.
