I feel like a loser

This just a rant for my own self satisfaction I do apoligise.
I feel like a loser. I've just got back to college starting my 2nd year. Last year was a total mess. I was not sober for a 24 hour period the whole year. I was doing hard stimulants on nights out were no one else was all the time. Looking back on it i was just trying to get over my low confidence issues. And they're still here now.
Over this summer I've been very ill and developed terrible spots, due to my drug and alcohol abuse? I'm sure. I also feel incredibly slow in social situations, and rather dumb.
I just feel like a massive loser. I need to sort my life out.

Sounds a bit like depression. It could be biological or it could be situational, or both.
Staying off stims is the best move ever. People who take stims are jackasses, plain and simple, there's no way to justify it, they just suck.
So moving on,
What do you value in life? - center life around this. What do you dream about? - take a few steps to make the dreams seem closer. What qualities do you have? - wit, humor, articulation . . . art skills, imagination . . . start to exploit these. Do you choose your friends wisely? - if you hang around people that judge you for anything you are, fuck 'em. Is there something you can do be more proud of yourself? - volunteer work, contributing to society. Do you push yourself to achieve? - doesn't have to be conventional. Do you want to be stronger? Set challenges. I'm going to address the check out chick with confidence/humor. At least start trying. Are you kind by default? - we are all connected, you feel what you do to others.
Things to think about, ask yourself, etc.
-------------------- Hostile humankind Can't you see you're fucking blind?

thank you. I think alot of my problems come from me being so self centred. I want to start focusing on other people, I dont want to be selfish any more

I've been in that same spot (and in the spot you describe in OP), and have moved past it.
If I can do it, then so can you. Don't let anything stop you, most especially yourself.

Course we can. You just gotta want it bad enough. You're far more capable than you realise or give yourself credit for, yet you're likely the hardest person in the world towards yourself!
Welcome to the paradox of being human!
Seriously though man, fight the good fight. It sounds like step one for you, is get those drugs under control. That was my step one in my early 20's...

The thing about being a winner is when ure the winner someone else will have to be the loser.

Not at all. The only competition you have in this life, if you want the effects of the win to last the rest of your life, is with yourself.
Those that win externally only win for a short period. Those that win internally win for life.

What I'm trying to say is that being a loser can be a humble thing. Atleast op isn't one of those overly confident douche bags..

I agree. I can't stand arrogance, but deserved confidence, for a human who has faced their inner demons head on, amongst the many who dare not, is a truly beautiful thing.
