We have a Sharp Aquos large screen TV that has worked flawlessly for 4 years. Not even a single glitch.

Yesterday, my mom and I were watching episode 3 of 'Animal Kingdom'. No, not a nature show. It is about a Southern California crime family with shades of 'Point Break' meets Ma Barker.

Anyhow, in one scene this man sneaks into another guy's house and looks like he is about mess this other man up with a crowbar.

Now I have to interject here. My mom is a real prude, can't stand straight sex scenes and finds homosexuality to be totally disgusting.

Back to the scene. It looks like the two men are fighting and the next thing you know they are having butt sex. My mom let's out a shriek and the TV goes off. I look over and the remote control is on the stand.

I turn the TV back on, change channels and it has worked perfectly fine ever since.

Coincidence or ...?

Maybe your power just glitched.  I think you are reaching to think your mom controlled it.  She only controls your thoughts, not the AC/DC.

Sure, it could have been any of numerous things. Correlation does not equal causation, but it was weird how her yell was at the exact same moment it turned off.

I suggest that you try to get her to shriek again in the same way and see if it affects the TV at all. Maybe turn on an episode of Law and Order and when she is deeply into it, drop trou and vigorously pull on your mule.

redgreenvines is onto something, you are just kind of being pervy here.  OC has already said that he loves showing his mom gay porn in the middle of the day, has some kind of an Eodopiss complex and eats way too much microwave popcorn.

yes definitely a Telekinetic event, take her to Washington DC, and take control of the government

maybe you could tape record another shriek and take over the world

or

sell it to the military

but don't tell them where you got it

and

keep a backup copy

in case they come after you

you could try different kinds of porn and see if the various shrieks have different properties, a real science project...
